Great diplay of vintage midgets in Sydney yesterday. The ocassion was to mark the 80th birthday of Gordon Benny, one of the stars of the 1960's midget scene. He still gives his cars a "boot full" on these days.

These are great photos from Sydney. I enjoyed look at all of them - wonderful old-time midget race cars. It's really wonderful to see that so many of yesteryears midgets still survive. Any chance of some description for the photos PLEASE? I want to know more about it all. Thanks.

Admin, Not and historian, more an enthusiast, but here goes. The #4 Wedge was designed by the famous McGee Racing Cams family and built by George Tatnell. In 1975, it won 17 races before being outlawed. This is a replica of the original car.
The #3 Chevy ll is I think owned by John Stanley from NZ.
The #3 Peter Nunn car is another McGee car, that was part of a 3 car build. I suspect The other 2 car in that trilogy were the original McGee Cams Tornado and the beautiful red Ray Redding car
