This site, in Spanish, gives a good insight into the flourishing Argentina midget car scene where often 100 cars turn up for a meeting! It's well worth looking at. Carlos Villar is the former Berwick speedway rider whose bike career ended when he was paralysed in the lower part of his body after a crash. He now races a specially adapted midget car.

Hi, i'm Carlos, from Argentina. I'm a Midget fan. The midget activity in Bahía Blanca (on the south of Buenos Aires) is really important. Also, the Midget is present (under other associations) in the Capital of Argentina and other states (Santa Fe and Córdoba). I'm from the Capital and i'm the administrator of www.solomidget.com.ar
