John, have you any idea which month these events took place? And do you happen to know if there was more than one visit in '47 by English drivers to Paris? I have recently acquired a "cafe poster" or large flyer advertising events on different dates which also appears to relate to 1947.

Thanks John.
It would seem then, that I have uncovered further racing about which nothing was previously known. This is the info. I found on your link: 1947 Sa/Su 05/06.07 : Paris (Buffalo Stadium) France v. Italy Fernand Meynier Francesco Gandi Paulo Mugnier Francois Peraldi Sa/Su 12/13.07 : Paris (Buffalo Stadium) France v. Italy Leon Boulard Francesco Gandi Fernand Meynier Francois Peraldi Charles Bellisent The dates on my poster are for Sat & Sunday, June 28th/29th. The poster mentions 16 cars will be racing but says nothing whatsoever about any speedway or races involving cars and bikes.
