Sportsman Park was located in Bedford, Ohio an ran midgets from 1937 until the begining of 1950. Ted Duncan in the #17 leads #3 Johnny Wohlfeil, #30 Bernie Kelley, #4 Wally Stokes, Bill Boyd in the unnumbered white car in this 1946 photo. Attachments:

Ez Walker, if you're looking at this - and I guess you will at some stage - I reckon we can take both backintime's word for it (because he sounds like someone who wouldn't make a mistake with a guy's name) and the signwriting on the car to mean that it really was spelt 'Ronney' and not Ronnie. My apologies for ever doubting the fact.
