Perhaps there are no details because the meeting may have been hit by bad weather? I wonder if we will ever find out 58 years later?

According to what I have seen on the scan for this meeting there was also a midget car meeting at Middlesbrough on the following Thursday April 17 1952 and I wonder was this also an England v Scotland test match. Sadly, I think like most things regarding midget car racing these details might not be known as a previous poster has suggested about the meeting that took place at Newcastle a few days before. Midgets also appeared at Newcastle late in 1951.
