It certainly is much different! That's the All England Tennis Club. The speedway/greyhound stadium is some distance away at Plough Lane.

I'm always wondering about Wimbledon - why they don't do more with it and how long it will be before we finally wave goodbye. I cannot say I have enjoyed any of my last few visits there. The thought occurred to me that with the Superstox having a meeting on the shale at Coventry in a few weeks that maybe Deane Wood should stick the shale down again at Plough Lane and get the Speedway back there. It would make a terrific place for the Speedway board to hold neutral events - riders' championships, test matches, etc. The National Hot Rods don't go to Wimbledon any more so they might as well stick the dirt back down and use it a bit more!
