Here's one to answer: Just how many midget car drivers are there in the UK and mainland Europe altogether? Are there really enough to have so many grandiose sounding champions in Europe like World, European and even British. Basically, for the UK and Europe it's just a club organised set-up masquerading as being a major motor sport.
Just look at how many drivers there are in Argentina for example - sometimes 100 arrive at a meeting. I can't hazard how many drivers there are in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa but I bet these countries have far more than the combined UK-European tally.
Does anyone have any ideas on driver numbers outside Uk-Europe?

gp midget club boasts 20+ racing members, and off the top of my head, 3 or 4 continental drivers who come over here to race. There is, as far as I know, no midget racing on mainland Europe.
