Ian Fraser Ker was a South African who drove under both the GPMCC and Namicsa banners. What midget car experience did he have in South Africa before driving in England. I believe he was also an airline pilot.

Ian Fraser was a pilot with Laker Airways in the early 1980s. He was a prime mover in the bid to form Namicsa speedway-midgets team. I heard that he also drove for a while in California in the late 1970s.

I seem to remember seeing a photo of Ian Fraser Ker and another driver Tony Stubbs in a national paper in the early 1980s. It was after the Laker Airline and holiday firm went bust and left many pilots without a job. The photo showed Ker and Stubbs as his assistant running some sort of fishmongers business from a van. Can't think why Stubbs was involved unless he was also something to do with Laker. Does anyone remember this newspaper photo?
