The old White City in Glasgow produced several good drivers when it first opened in 1937. They included Tommy Forster (who died in tragic circumstances a non-racing related death in the late 1950s), George Ellis, Andy Dodds (a Glasgow bus driver) and the Sandground brothers. Does anyone have any idea what their first names were? Like all good pre-war racers they used Skirrows rather than the less reliable Eltos.
