Stan Mills seems to have been a very prominent driver in pre-war years, probably the best in the 1938 National League, but little seems to have been written about him. I's love to see some information about who, what, when and where concerning him.

I read up the chapter about the National League and agree Stan Mills is badly neglected when one looks at the results of the 1930s team matches. Plenty about drivers like Walter Mackereth, Frank Chiswell, Charlie Pashley and Spike Rhiando. Then comes the beggered question - who was Stan Mills?

This "unknown" great from the 1930s needs to have some career data put on to the site. Thanks for setting the ball rolling halflinger121 with at least a photo of him. We're slowly but surely getting there.

We're slowly but surely getting there. It's really baffling that so far none of the groups historians have come up with more information about Stan Mills - apart from a very good photo. He hardly even gets a mention in the many chapters of midget car racing by John Hyam that tend to dominate sections of the site.

We're slowly but surely getting there. But we still don't know anything else about Stan Mills who was, as mentioned in another post, the top scorer in the 1938 National League.
