On the left iside insert page, I notice that the Asst. Director of Racing is Cubby Broccoli. Could that possibly be the same Cubby Broccoli who went on to James Bond movie fame?

On the left iside insert page, I notice that the Asst. Director of Racing is Cubby Broccoli. Could that possibly be the same Cubby Broccoli who went on to James Bond movie fame? On the second page of this section there's a photo of Cubby in one of the driver's midget and it indicates there that he did have some dort of link with the James Bond films.

![]() Tony Kaye article (1).jpeg [/img] A view from many years later. Who was Tony Kaye?
Well might you ask. He decries the American midget team in one breath and in another seems to know very little about when they raced in London - and where? Seems like a poser jumping on a midget-car bandwagon so to speak - and missing it!

![]() Art George abd biker.jpeg [/img] Walthamstow - Art George in midget v a speedway rider - believed to be either Billy Murden or Allen Briggs. Murden was understod to be an early 1930s novice at Belle Vue (he later raced midgets). Briggs was a local speedway rider from the Walthamstow area.
There is a comment on this race in the section carrying the views of Frank Brewer regarding the tour. Almost certainly it is NOT Billy Murden.
