I am sorry to hear the news about National Speed Sport News. Years ago I briefly managed to get a few items about British midget car racing into the paper - then they dropped me because they said it was as its title implied National and that meant the USA.
It has been a great friend of USA midget car racing and all forms of American motorsport - at one time I believe even speedway!
I used to deal with Chris Economacki who I think was owner-publisher. Their address back then (early 1980s) was in Ridgewood, New Jersey.

I was sorry to learn last night during a sports broadcast here in the States.. National Speed Sport News will close publication..
The follwing taken from the company website.
HARRISBURG, N.C. — The outpouring of emotion and support has moved us from readers, contributors and industry leaders concerning the final issue of National Speed Sport News, which was published March 23. Nearly every person we have spoken with has asked if the online version of National Speed Sport News would continue. The best answer we can offer at this point is that we certainly hope so. Details are still being hammered out behind the scenes. The good news is that for at least for the next several weeks, www.nationalspeedsportnews.com will be updated regularly. Many of the same contributors you have enjoyed reading in the pages of NSSN will support the website with content.
