Eric Fretten, my Dad. He died a few yers ago.Another old racing friend Tony Bostock has also died. Mum & my brother have lots of info going back years, from the start, when we broke away from speedworth. Mum has minuetes of meetings, programs & photos. Does any one remember the racing trip to Jamaca. What great days, mum cooking dinner in the tent, shale covered drivers, putting your car together with a abit of wire for the next race.If you would like any of this info let me know & I will get Mum onto it. Carol

Carol I am certain we would like to read more memories of the trip to Jamaica at the start of the 1970s and I have an idea that on site there is a thread about this but I can't seem to find it at the moment. Our memory man on this sort of stuff is dear old halflinger and I dare say in a day or so he'll intervene and put us in the right direction on this intriguing overseas venture by the MARC.

Hah, no worries kid - no need to wait a couple of days either. Look at the 'General Discussion' bit of the main board and scroll down to the 32nd item, 'West Indies Tour 1970's'. There's three pages of it and some pix too. And I'm as keen as the rest of you to see anything further on this subject!

Now, hopefully, we will see more updates from our new friend vicarage posted in the correct link. I look forward to hearing more about that pioneering tour of 1972 - just think, it all happened 40 years ago!
