I have just seen this on the site GP MIDGETS. Does anyone have a photo of the car so we can see how it compares to front-engine midgets in the rest of the world? The GP MIDGETS site said this ---
1st December 2010 - Awards Night Winners Congratulations to all the winners who received their awards at the end of season dinner: Best Front Engined Cliff Bunn

At best, that should be the basic design for all GPMC midget cars IMO.

Cliff's new car is a fantastic effort that has taken him two years to build and has proved competitive straight out of the box despite still retaining a heavy side mounted crossflow Ford. Currently on show at the Autosport NEC show it created a lot of interest yesterday to the point where Cliff spoke to various builders of oval race cars regarding having replicas built so if you think GP midgets should all look like this put your deposits down now! At the last meeting of 2010 this car proved quicker than any of the rear engined lawnmowers (sorry!) and I look forward to seeing it go better as it gets developed in 2011. Cliff as myself is a great enthusiast of the 1950/60's US racing scene so he has based the bodywork on a scaled down front engine Indy roadster complete with classic A.J.Foyt colour scheme - and the car as depicted is just the start - there is already a new tail section under construction to make it look even better.
