A mate who claims he knows more than me about Australian midget car drivers sats that the 1950s world champion Werner Greve was a German U-boat commander in World War Two. I tend to treat the information with a pinch of salt but I believe he did have a bad experience during the war. I understand that Greve emigrated to Australia in the late 1940s and was later owner a large earth shifting company in New South Wales. Again - is that fact of just more fiction?
