there have been comments bandied about regarding the absence of klaus killianski at brafield this month. klaus intimated last year that he intended to cease midget racing in 2010 and would only do a very few meetings if any this year. he obviously decided prior to leaving home, not to take part in this years world final, because he put the world trophy in his car and bought it with him. clearly he had therefore no intention of attending brafield anyway there have also been some queries as to whether there will be continental representation in the world final at northampton this year, and i can confirm toni scheepens will be competing

If that is the case, why has KK got uptight about having his head (cylinder head, that is.....) removed for a capacity check, he could have just said "no" and gone home

engines in the uk are frequently sealed and would not be rechecked untin the seal is broken , i myself am waiting for pistons to rebuild my race engine and intend to get a tech committee member to check the engine during assembly to simplify procedures. i do appreciate that this option is sadly not available to foreign drivers

J Killianski, in his original post, reported that there was no sign of a seal on any of the first three place cars.
