The Knockhill Tri-oval has come on the GPM Club fixtures for this season. What exactly does it look like - is it a conventional race oval or what? It's obviously a tarmac surface - otherwise the GPMC wouldn't go there! ;D

Always a good idea to have a look at the club website - we've had an arial shot on the fixtures page since the start of the year - it's at the bottom of the page... www.ovaltrack.co.uk/gpmidgets/events.htmThe circuit uses Taylor's hairpin from the main circuit which is slightly downhill and a left turn for the Midgets. The shorter of the three straights is part of the Rallycross circuit (yes, tarmac). I gather the guys enjoyed racing up there - 12 cars made the journey which is pretty good given the distances involved. Apparently the fans enjoyed the racing too.
