There follows three photos of midget cars being restored by Eric Walker in April 2002. In a letter at that time, Eric wrote: "I've enclosed photos of two further cars in the current collection. The before and after shots are of an original 1940s V8 60 flathead Midget found in a barn in Lincolnshire about 10 years ago and restored by the previous owner. It must have been used in this country at some time as it was fitted with mini brakes. If you by chance have any photos of this car or can shed any light on its history I would appreciate any information. Unfortnately due to severe lack of space, this one is for sale due to the purchase of a second Kurtis. This is a real time-warp car fitted with a Chevvy 2 engine and exactly as it came off the track from its last race in the early 1960s. By the look of it, if you cleaned out the fuel system and gave it a push, it would start so I'm tempted to get this one up and running for demonstration." - Eric Walker, writtend 18th April, 2002.
