Any names for drivers who took part in the midget car events after the speedway races at Belle Vue in the late 1950s. I think they were 500cc or 600cc BobParker-built cars. The main name I recall is Stan Beardsall, Ted Howell, Jack Butterfield, Mike Parker. Any more.
Does any member have an action photo of these cars? It would be great for one to come up on the forum. Many thanks.

I think these may be the same cars that raced at Belle Vue although I can't be absolutely certain. I also have no idea who the drivers are, although they are racing at Perry Barr, Birmingham. The photos are marked July 31st 1956, so if anybody has a prog from that meeting it would help. I'm guessing, but the stickers with 'M' and 'N' on the cars suggests to me a Midlands v North team event perhaps, Brum v Belle Vue. Attachments:
