I tried to send a photo and it was apparently so large the system turned it down. How can I make a photo smaller so that I can put it on here. It shows Spike Rhiando at Crystal Palace in 1934 in a car called 'The Duck' (I think that's the name anyway). Did this photo ever get posted - I'ld like to see it?

I have read on another proboards site that there is a limit 0f 100MB ( ) for a site to use as photos. Is there any truth in this - and how do moderators on here know when the site is reaching its limit? Does it mean that in time the oldest photos will be self-deleting to take on the latest material. Does anyone have an answer to what is obviously a potential problem in the offing?

I thought that I would do an administrative browse to see what is happening and found this 'potential threat'. I have already contacted proboards and when they respond to this query will put the answer on here.

Nothing in from proboards but I did manage to find this information on the proboards adminstrators section. Can any member decipher this please? This is the reply I recived from proboards: are we on the same wavelength I wonder? They said: Re: PHOTO SPACE AVAILABLE « Reply #1 Today at 7:45am » Today at 7:28am, speedstox12 wrote: A member of Midget Car Panorama has posted this message. Is there an answer to it please? I wanted to know how much space we had for photos before the allocation ran out. This doesn't seem to be the answer - or is it? Hi
That will be the attachment option. You can read all the details, including size allowances, in your admin panel. Click on Attachments, which can be under: Manage Posts.
To delete an attachment:
In your Admin panel select "Attachments" under Manage Posts you'll see a "View Attached Files" link. Click that and it will list all the attachments on your forum, and you can select the one you want to delete.
Individuals can delete attachments, by deleting the posts which contains them.
The attachment system may change to some degree, upon the the release of V5. There's no date for that athis point.

Here's another reply from proboards: To add to what Sossity posted, each forum has a limit of 2GB of total attachment space at this time (200mb was the old limit)

Early motot sport in the netherlands Like Rod Pashley I cannot get this to open. The best I get is a maze of jumbled letters.

Rod Pashley CAN open it, you need to download it, and then open it with microsoft office, which is most likely on your PC.
