NaMICSA APRIL 1982
The Namicsa-sanctioned speedway-midgets open their season at Boston on Sunday, May 2, when 10 drivers contest the East Anglian Championship.
Invited to compete are Pete and John Smith, Tony Stubbs, Ian Fraser Ker, Clive 'Hellcat' Baker, Alan Fretten, John Reade, Chris Butler, Dermot McGivern and Geoff Rumble. Then on Tuesday, May 11, the speedway-midgets stage the first of three England versus 'World of Rebels' test matches at Crayford. Other likely staging tracks later in the summer will be Hacknev and Boston.
SIX Namicsa speedway-midget car drivers have been invited to compete in six races as part of an indoor motorsport series at Rotterdam's Sports Palais Ahoy in the autumn.
GEOFF RUMBLE, builder of the Dastle midget car and former pioneer driver under Spedeworth International in the 1960s, has emerged from retirement to race for Namicsa.
