I have seen elsewhere a scan of Steve Young's new GP Midget - I think it's called the SJR-Peugeot. It was first raced a week or so back at Arena Essex. I am sure if any member who also has a scan of the car could put on here it will cause a few hiccups among our midget car purists.

It's a very well built car and I think a progression from Steve's previous car, the Nimrod, which was built (I think) by Geoff Bunn. It's Peugeot powered with bike carbs. There was a good mix of front and rear engine cars at Arena on Saturday and the racing was very, very good. Pete Dorrell (front engine) won the two heats and was just pipped by Jonathan Pooley in the final. Jonathan was racing his rear engine Scorpian and came through from the back of the field.
