FOR SALE 1968 Dastle Mk3, the only one running as far as I know. This is in running order but has been stored for 2 years. As a result there are some rust spots on the wishbones and other metalwork. It is on storage wheels but has a set of period racing Dunlops with it. I drove it onto its trailer to bring it home recently although the fuel pump has dodgy points. As a demonstrator very little work is required, I used it for hillclimbs and it has a MSA logbook but it does need work if you intend to use it for that purpose. Included is a part constructed front rollover bar in CDS tubing as the original is in my opinion too light. The exhaust manifold is thin and needs replacement, its a shortened Mini one and not costly. If you are interested I can provide a copy of the article published in Ovaltrack Classic detailing how it was rebuilt. This is not a pristine car but it does have historical value and I want it to go to an enthusiast not for breaking. I have a figure in mind and its not silly money.
Dicky Nadin PS logged on as a new member as I could not get my old member name Dastle1275 to work.
Will try to add photos when I can sort out how but there is a photo on the site in the 1970 over section.
NOW SOLD

I note your concern at having to rejoin the site to Post a message. I notice several other members have recently returned to MCP "wearing new hats"!!! This is a problem with the server - Proboards - and is one of many ongoing problems that have bedevilled this and other forums since they started the change in mid-January and which they claim will not be completed until April 29. While the site would like to see photos and possible a copy of the article, please do not send this at the moment. The posting of photos and similar is another problem that this site MCP is trying to resolve with Proboards. It would appear from messages seen on favebooks for Proboards that this forum is not alone in having problems. Admin, Midget Car Panorama.

Hi Dicky, I would be seriously interested in your Mk3 and not for breaking. As you may remember I still own my two old American midgets plus the unraced German built Mk7 I bought eight years back together with the remains of the ex-Steve Piggins Mk18. If you prefer you can email me privately to ezwalk43@blueyonder.co.uk, Regards, Ez
