How do I attach multiple pages? Fixtures 1934_Page_2.jpg [/img] Fixtures 1934_Page_3.jpg[/img] Fixtures 1934_Page_4.jpg[/img]
Why don't you convert the 1934 dates to "ordinary type" then edit out all the dates where meetings did not take place - as I did for 1935? You can then later edit in, delete or amend race dates as needed - as I did for 1935. There's no need with a basic date list to carry dates where we are virtually positive no races were held?

Regarding the terminology in use I followed the link to the Proboards help page and got this : 'A category is an identifier used to sort boards by topic on the main page of the forum. Category titles generally attempt to define and represent the content of the boards nested beneath them. Forums are required to have at least one top level category to accommodate and contain boards. You'll find the following links in the Categories section of the admin panel:'Thjis is seriously confusing because in the first sentence the same concept is being described by the terms 'boards' and 'forum'. But then there are references to boards being nested beneath categories and a category containing boards. So the term board is being used synonymously with forum and with topic which is simply not correct. As I understand it now, a forum is a board and a topic is a thread but a board is not a topic So: Midget Car Panorama is a forum/board which is divided into > categories which are divided into > topics/threads. Hope this helps. May I pass some comments: (1) Midget Car Panorama is a forum (2) It is the divided into categories. For example: The test match scene. (3) There is then a main reply board - so far unused - in which threads (or subjects) can be placed. Further similar relevant boards can be added if needed - as will be seen by studying the Home Page. (4) It is also possible to create in a main reply board a series of sub-boards. This has been done in The test match scene and there are nine of them. These include at the moment Australia v England 1935-36 Holland Triangular Series 1960 Scotland v England 1953.If needed, further sub-boards on a relative topic can be created. Admin, Midget Car Panorama.

Please could we just have a category called Meeting Data Research or similar and put under that the existing topics/threads/subboards for each year say 1928 to whenever?
Then stuff can be posted in just one category by year and we can sort out how it is going to be organised in a database when information has been collected?

I will attempt to establish this within the next 24 hours. It looks a sound idea to me - probably from 1928-39 for starters? Other years can be added as progress is made.

I assume that the years 1934 and 1935 will be part of this?

Terry: The section and a board for the 1928 season has been created. Any comments on this? If it's what is needed I will proceed with similar boards up to and including the 1939 season. speedstox12, Admin, Midget Car Panorama.

I will post the balance of Derek's lists year by year shortly, under the appropriate year, and list any additional information which I have.
