Rather than reply to individual emails that have been sent to me I'll try and reply through this site.
Those of you who have copies of my (very) rough notes re fixtures you have my permission to do whatever you want to do with them, although you might mention my name!!
As for how the new databoaed should be set out its up to you guys to sort out, for a few ideas take a look at the Speedway Researcher site, its run by sevaral blokes up in Scotland if you need to contact them I've got most of their email addresses.
I have all the results, heat details times etc from Coventry and Stoke, plus a few other tracks. The easiest way for me to post them is to send them to individuals who can then post them in the data base.
By the way still struggling to find a publisher for my history of Belle Vue 34 to 40.

That's good Derek, I hope to post your material in a day or two with an opening paragraph using one thread for each year.
But first John, I feel the current set-up is too confusing with two forums, each with threads called "databoard discussion"
I am not sure if the one limited to the 4 moderators, that is this one, helps or confuses. Can it be 'seen' by others or does it not appear on their screens at all all. Could it be renamed eg Moderators discussion?
I feel sure that in due course we are going to get discussions on the same topic running in both places so I feel it may be a recipe for even more confusion.
If there is any need for private discussion (and I am not sure what that would be) could this not just be done be email anyway?
Another issue (sorry) I never look at the Home page; I always go to 'New topics' which is really 'New posts'. However only one of the threads has come up under 'New topics' (this databoard discussion one I think) so I hadn't noticed the others that have been created until today

I have removed from the 1934 year various posts of mine that are now redundant and confusing. Maybe other's too?

NOW the forum appears to be coming to terms with the Proboards' transition from its v4 format to v5 and the resultant changes therein, it would be nice to see this section coming back to life. Moderators and forum members have their own sections to make responses in - PLEASE!!!
