There's a lot about the opening 1934 season at Crystal Palace, and a brief mention of the Palace for 1938 in the Round The Leagues section, but I can't seem to find anything about either Palace in the 1935 season. Am I missing it?

Well Toby, they are both the same place if that's your question, or part of it. And there was certainly some midget racing at Crystal Palace in '35; I have programmes to prove it.

Thanks for your input halflinger but I remain as bewildered as ever!!! I know there was racing, as your rightly say, at Crystal Palace in 1935 but I still cannot find it on the section only 1934 in some great detail and 1938 in the leagues article. But 1935 seems to beat me. As they might say in flying terms "can you talk me down on this one? Over and out!" And how about scanning one of the Palace programmes for us to see how the racing was presented in those far off times? I'm sure we'd all appreciate that.

Am I missing it? There's not a specific chapter on Crystal Palace so far as I can see, but there's a mention of it in the Greenford chapter. Also the section JEAN REVILLE - MIDGET MAN OF MYSTERY BY DAVID HAUNTON could well carry some items in regard to that season. Jean Reville was quite a local personality in that area before heading down-under.

I can't see anything either about Palace and 1935.
